Rum Island Retreat is nestled in the verdant Florida woodlands with
close access to the Santa Fe River at Rum Island Park and Springs.
We are now accepting rental reservations with a minimum stay of two
nights. Afternoon check-in is 3:00 PM, and morning check-out is
11:00 AM. (If the cabin is available, you may check-in earlier and
check-out later.) The beautifully furnished cabin sleeps a maximum of
10, with a recommendation of six adults and four children.
Sleeping accommodations include 6 single beds, 1 full futon bed and 2 chair beds. Floor
Plan available upon request.
A Higher Place at Rum Island Retreat is
the perfect spot to meditate and hold intimate spiritual events.
Weddings and Reunions are being booked, and honeymooners claim it is a
quiet, romantic spot, secluded and private.

Kayak
Rental:
2-night stay........50.00 per kayak (2 days)
3-day stay..........75.00 per kayak
7-day stay....... 100.00 per kayak
A canoe is available at no charge; however, you must sign a
waiver.A deposit of 50% down plus a $300 security deposit
(see below) is due
upon making reservations. The balance is due 3 days
BEFORE
check-in. Both can be charged to your credit card.
Security deposit will be subtracted from your remaining
balance after checkout. Cancellation notice: Minimum of
three weeks
prior to scheduled arrival. Or at least one month in advance if staying
during a holiday. Cancellation fee: $50.00.
Sorry, no refunds on deposit for late cancellations, but you
may apply your deposit to a future reservation. Rum Island
Retreat is a no-smoking residence. Please smoke
outside. No pets allowed (exceptions if the pet is
small, but extra security deposit required). We accept Visa, MasterCard,
Discover and American Express. (Please add 3% for American Express
transactions.)
Security Deposit
A security Deposit of $300.00, along with your Rental
Deposit, is required at booking and will be charged to your
credit card. Your full deposit of 300.00 will be
credited after check out, provided everything is in place
and not damaged. Should there be damage or missing items
that exceeds $300.00, the actual repair or replacement costs
will be charged to your credit card.
Camping for extra group or family members is available,
provided that you have booked the cabin to capacity.
